Company introduction

Allan Hansen Automobiler A/S is one of Denmark’s oldest car dealerships. They have over 100 cars in stock at their impressive showroom in Vejle.

Founded more than 30 years ago, the company has grown significantly and now operates in an era where the digital landscape plays an increasingly dominant role.

Today, traffic in the automotive industry is primarily driven by social media, Google, and external car listing platforms like Bilbasen. Martin, Allan Hansen’s son, wanted to create a cohesive strategy that integrates these channels seamlessly. He was also looking for a digital sparring partner who could make the process transparent and manageable.

My approach to the case

The first thing I did was review Google Analytics and ensure we could track all potential “conversions.”

This included tracking how many people filled out our contact form, clicked “call us,” or booked a test drive—in other words, understanding what fundamentally drove the inquiries coming through the website.

Next, I set up new ad accounts on Facebook and Instagram to manage advertising. This included crafting messages aligned with the dealership’s goals, such as promoting news, seasonal campaigns like workshop services, and other areas they wanted to emphasize.

Additionally, we developed an Instagram strategy focused on growing their social media presence, intensifying their ability to reach a broader audience through these platforms.
