character traits define you, what skills can you contribute, what values do you hold, and what are your visions for the future?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Personal branding can be used in a variety of contexts, such as:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Job searching and career development.<\/li>\n<li>Increasing awareness of your own business.<\/li>\n<li>Social settings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In reality, personal branding is something we all actively engage in through our profiles on platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and X.<\/p>\n<p>Here, we share a version of ourselves that we want to present to the world.<\/p>\n<p>However, when we talk about personal branding, it is with a specific purpose.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s explore some of these purposes below.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Personal_branding_as_an_entrepreneur\"><\/span>Personal branding as an entrepreneur<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Imagine you have your own href=\"https:\/\/www.mickyweis.com\/en\/business-on-tiktok\/\">TikTok<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Personal branding is a strategy that helps put you and your business on the map by creating a more personal connection with consumers.<\/p>\n<p>This falls under what is known as relationship marketing, which aims to build loyal customers rather than just one-time conversions.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, businesses seek to earn consumers&#8217; trust, and this is effectively achieved by forming a connection with them.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" class=\"greenbox\">\n<p>If we focus on social media, your personal branding could include:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Behind-the-scenes videos (production, packaging orders, new products).<\/li>\n<li>A day in your life as an entrepreneur.<\/li>\n<li>Creative processes leading to new product launches.<\/li>\n<li>Your vision for your business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These are just a few examples of how posts, stories, and videos can actively create a relationship with consumers.<\/p>\n<p>Once this relationship is established, consumers will have a clearer idea of your business and brand, and as a result, credibility will inevitably increase.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Personal_branding_as_a_job_seeker\"><\/span>Personal branding as a job shine.<\/p>\n<p>It offers a great opportunity to build a strong profile, share personal experiences, insights, and expertise, and create a solid network.<\/p>\n<p>Before diving in, you should be clear on the purpose of your personal branding on the platform\u2014what kind of job are you looking for, what type of network will help you move forward, etc.<\/p>\n<p>The key to personal branding on LinkedIn is consistency and authenticity.<\/p>\n<p>You are not the only one using personal storytelling on the platform, so standing out is essential.<\/p>\n<p>This could be achieved through:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Your language style.<\/li>\n<li>Authentic topics that interest you.<\/li>\n<li>Interactive content with your network.<\/li>\n<li>Valuable and inspiring authentic self-presentation.<\/p>\n<p>For you, it doesn\u2019t have to be that personal.<\/p>\n<p>You can showcase your personality through <a traits.<\/p>\n<p>This will likely lead to greater visibility, a larger network, more customers, and a certain level of credibility surrounding your
