Like OpenAI, it uses large language models to deliver the best and most meaningful responses to user queries.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently, the chatbot is intended to compete with other major AI tools\u2014and to give Siri, Apple\u2019s voice-activated assistant, a serious upgrade.<\/p>\n<p>The chatbot has been in the works for quite some time, but unlike Microsoft Copilot, where the race to release was fast-paced, Apple hasn\u2019t shown the same urgency in getting their AI tool into the hands of consumers.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"When_will_Apple_GPT_be_launched\"><\/span>When will Apple GPT be launched?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Unfortunately, many questions around Apple GPT still remain unanswered\u2014especially when it comes to a launch date.<\/p>\n<p>What we do know is that the AI chatbot is currently being used internally by Apple employees. Due to security concerns, it hasn\u2019t been possible to use tools like OpenAI or Microsoft\u2019s AI solutions within the company.<\/p>\n<p>The chatbot is therefore being tested internally and is reportedly used for services like AppleCare support and generating product prototypes.<\/p>\n<p>Some speculate that Apple GPT may launch as early as 2024, while others believe the timeline will be longer due to the extensive work required on privacy and security protocols.<\/p>\n<p>Others still believe there\u2019s a real chance Apple GPT will never be released to consumers and will remain an internal tool integrated within the company.<\/p>\n<p>If you ask me, that would be a shame\u2014and very unlike Apple\u2014not to join the AI race and release a chatbot that could become a built-in feature across their ever-expanding lineup of tech products.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>What do you think?
