Micky \u2013 which podcasts do I listen to?<\/p>\n
This is a question I\u2019m getting more and more often. In general, I\u2019m noticing an increased interest in what books I read and what I listen to. So, I\u2019ve decided to briefly write a post with recommendations so you can \u201clisten along.\u201d<\/p>\n
Over the past few years, I\u2019ve read a couple of books a month \u2013 but recently, I\u2019ve shifted more toward podcasts and YouTube videos.<\/p>\n
It may sound a bit nerdy, but I often watch films on YouTube instead of Netflix. I enjoy learning something new, so I\u2019ll often sit down with a cold soda and dive into whatever topic I find most interesting at the moment.<\/p>\n
I recommend starting by listening to 100 different episodes of Joe Rogan. He has truly mastered the podcast format and is, in my opinion, a solid interviewer. That\u2019s an essential skill when you\u2019re hosting conversations that often last 3\u20134 hours.<\/p>\n
I rarely listen to marketing podcasts, as I work with marketing 10 hours a day, constantly read blog posts, and do research for my teaching. I try to broaden my horizons a bit instead. It\u2019s refreshing and energizing to listen to topics outside of what I do every day. That\u2019s how I see it, at least.<\/p>\n
A small note:<\/strong> what I\u2019ve learned most from seeking out as much knowledge as I have in recent years is that you start listening more than you talk. You realize just how little you actually know about a lot of things. Maybe you\u2019ll experience the same thing.<\/p>\n
