But instead of only being presented with the well-known list of blue links, Bard will function as an AI conversation partner.<\/p>\n<p>This means that we are dealing with the implementation of simulated human-like conversations, similar to what we already know from ChatGPT. In fact, according to Google, the Transformer aspect of ChatGPT is also present in Bard\u2019s technology. It will therefore be a chatbot that develops and \u201ctransforms\u201d as users interact with it.<\/p>\n<p>I have in a previous post written about my expectations for Google Bard, which you can read more about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mickyweis.com\/en\/ai-tools\/\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_can_Google_Bard_offer\"><\/span><strong>What can Google Bard offer?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The difference between ChatGPT and Bard\u2019s technology lies in one of Google\u2019s greatest strengths: their search results. Where ChatGPT previously came up short with results limited to 2021, Google Bard will use the newest data delivered directly from their own search engine.<\/p>\n<p>Bard will also be closely connected with other Google apps such as Docs, Sheets, and Gmail. This makes it possible to export Bard\u2019s answers into relevant apps to be used in concrete contexts.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Bard is reportedly becoming part of the visual AI field. Google\u2019s chatbot can therefore partly generate AI images based on user requests and, in a similar way to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mickyweis.com\/en\/chatgpt-4-0\/\">ChatGPT 4.0<\/a>, provide meaningful answers based on the user\u2019s own images.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Has_Google_been_too_quick\"><\/span><strong>Has Google been too quick?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>When Bard was introduced back in February 2023, it was clear that Google had jumped the gun.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><a href=\"https:\/\/explodingtopics.com\/blog\/chatgpt-users\">With ChatGPT\u2019s massive success<\/a>, it is assumed that Google rushed to join the AI race, resulting in a version of Bard that simply did not live up to expectations.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Some months later, <a href=\"https:\/\/bard.google.com\/\">Google Bard<\/a> is still in the testing phase. However, there is talk that the tool will be free to use, meaning it is only a matter of time before we can truly begin testing the chatbot.
