Books
My personal book list
I have chosen to make a list of the books that I have read and that have truly contributed value – ironically enough.
Why is it ironic? … If you ask my dear mother, who throughout my school years tried to get me to read anything other than Bent Faurby's football books and the magazine GOAL!, if she ever expected that I would come to read anything else, she would probably answer: NO.
That's why I started reading.
Today, I love reading books – especially those that truly inspire me. Maybe it's because I now have the freedom to choose which books I want to read. It was probably different back when we were forced to analyze a poem by Tove Ditlevsen or go through the cubism style period – again.
I think it was Jim Rohn's quote that “got me hooked” a few years ago:
"The difference between where you are today and where you’ll be five years from now will be found in the quality of books you’ve read."
Since then, I've read a long list of books, watched video talks, and much more. I've tried to compile the very best books I've read below, and I've also given them a few lines of commentary – maybe you can find inspiration for some good books here – who knows?
