Review of Dashthis

When it comes to data analysis, I have on several occasions described how I make use of different programs such as Dashthis, Google Analytics and Excel.

This post I have chosen to dedicate to a review of the data tool Dashthis, where we will take a closer look at the features I consider particularly recommendable in this tool.

As an introductory remark, I mainly use Dashthis to prepare reports for my clients, so that they can gain a thorough and clear overview of relevant figures and processes.

All your data collected in one place

Dashthis is among the tools that manage to gather all your data in one place and make it easy to analyze across these. Here, through an API integration, data is collected from many different sources such as Instagram, Facebook, Google Ads, Linkedin and many more.

For me, this has meant that I have not had to manually align data sources against each other in an external program, but instead have been presented with all the data right away.

With the available templates offered by Dashthis, reports on total performance across relevant data sources are generated and make the figures much easier to understand. This has saved me considerable time in clarifying and providing insights into processes for my clients and in visualizing KPI results.

Furthermore, I have been particularly pleased with being able to decide for myself how the reports should look. With Dashthis’ templates I can select which key metrics should be visualized and then adapt it depending on who is to be presented with them; for instance with new setups or by including my own comments on the results.

The templates I use from the tool’s presets, or the ones I create myself, are afterwards available for similar tasks and save me valuable time in setting up the most important data for future clients.

Automation of analysis processes

Another advantage of Dashthis, which I also want to highlight, is that reports can easily be shared with partners as well as clients and automatically be set up to, for example, be sent via email each month or each quarter depending on what makes sense for the client and the figures each report contains.

I can also only be positive about the customer support I have experienced myself. Dashthis itself also states in this regard that there will always be an account manager connected to your account, so that you always have access to support.
