I’ve become familiar with many different programs and tools over time, which have helped kickstart important processes and automate routine tasks for me.
Among these tools, one that has been invaluable in my work is Morningscore. It’s specifically an SEO tool and one of the best I’ve used over the years.
I’ve dedicated this post to reviewing the tool — one I’ve been using for the past 5 years.
A big thanks to Karsten for creating such an awesome tool.
Morningscore: A new approach to SEO
Morningscore is a Danish company with a mission to make SEO simpler and more accessible for businesses, consultants, and everything in between.
I’ve personally been very impressed with how Morningscore manages to transform a highly technical discipline like SEO into an easy way to improve a company’s performance.
The tool is set up like a game, using gamification, which makes it easier for me to explain the basic SEO principles and techniques to my clients in a simple, understandable way.
With the help of “missions,” the tool motivates users to tackle the most important SEO tasks that are crucial for a site’s performance.
Plus, it’s visually appealing when trying to improve your score.
In other words, you get a suite of tools in one platform, which means you can avoid large monthly payments and reduce the time spent using separate systems. I personally use Morningscore in combination with Search Console.
This can be seen in the frequent analysis of a website’s health, including technical errors, where Morningscore provides step-by-step guides to fix the issues.
Thus, SEO tasks are broken down into manageable missions, making it easier to get started.
Technical SEO analysis with Morningscore
A technical SEO analysis with Morningscore involves a comprehensive review of your website’s health and compliance with Google’s guidelines.
By scanning up to 10,000 landing pages, Morningscore can identify both basic, technical, and content-related issues. The tool ranks these problems by severity and suggests solutions, so you can prioritize and fix the most critical errors first.
Additionally, Morningscore offers step-by-step guides to help you resolve each problem, making it easy for even beginners to optimize their SEO.
Keyword research with Morningscore
Keyword research with Morningscore offers an effective way to discover the best keywords, similar to tools like Ahrefs and Accuranker — what we call a keyword analysis.
With the tool, you can discover new, valuable keywords based on your existing ones and receive suggestions for new keywords that can help you reach more potential customers. You can set your preferred market (or multiple markets) and use various filters to sort and analyze data.
Additionally, you can save and organize your keywords in lists, making it easier to track progress and continually optimize your content. This is also extremely useful when expanding into other countries.
How I use Morningscore daily
In general, Morningscore’s comprehensive reports have made it easier for me to present all relevant information regarding SEO performance and the disciplines that underlie it for the cases I work with.
These reports, in my opinion, provide an optimal overview of a website’s SEO performance and include the following aspects:
- An overview of the number of searches for specific keywords and their rankings.
- Competitor analysis that provides insights into which keywords and links contribute to the ranking of their website.
- An overview of content or link issues on your website and how these affect your site’s performance.
- Analysis of your website’s link profile, giving you an overview of existing and lost links.
Morningscore is one of the marketing tools I can’t live without. Read more about the other tools I frequently use in my post here.
These aspects are all you need, in my opinion, and they have given me a complete overview of a website’s SEO performance.
As mentioned, I use Morningscore in conjunction with Search Console, occasionally Ahrefs, and Bazoom when building new links in a link-building strategy.
Moreover, it’s super easy to get started, and it doesn’t require a developer to set it up correctly.
