BarkDNA is a Danish beauty brand that has taken the beauty industry by storm by combining high-performance products with a simple and authentic brand experience. BarkDNA is built on the philosophy that products should make a real difference and empower users’ confidence and personal expression.

Solution

When working with e-commerce and paid growth in a competitive beauty market, balancing performance and branding is essential to achieving long-term growth. In my role as Fractional CMO, I worked closely with the team to scale paid channels, optimize the webshop, and strengthen the brand’s digital foundation.

Through the setup and structuring of Instagram and Facebook advertising, as well as the implementation of a more precise tracking setup, we gained clear insights into how orders, campaigns, and channels contributed to overall performance. The goal was to establish a solid foundation where both performance and branding efforts could be measured and continuously optimized.

The role was both highly hands-on and strategic—combining ongoing optimization of paid growth initiatives with close collaboration with the team and a continuous focus on ensuring that growth initiatives supported the brand’s long-term market position, not just short-term results.
