Bazoom Group is the world’s largest link platform, serving more than 70,000 media outlets globally and handling over 5,000 monthly transactions. Operating at the intersection of content, SEO, and performance marketing, the company has established itself as a key player in the international digital ecosystem.
In 2024, Bazoom Group was acquired by the Norwegian venture firm HAWK in a transaction exceeding DKK 250 million — the result of several years of focused work on scaling, product development, and market positioning.
Solution
In my role as External CMO and member of the management team, I held overall responsibility for marketing strategy, brand positioning, and growth, with a clear focus on strengthening Bazoom Group’s long-term market leadership.
The work was centered around professionalizing the marketing function in line with the company’s increasing size and complexity. This included a close alignment between marketing, product, and development, ensuring that positioning, value proposition, and go-to-market strategy were directly anchored in product development and customer needs.
The role was both strategic and hands-on, with responsibility for ensuring that the marketing efforts supported the company’s overall business objectives — including preparation for a successful exit.
