iKontrol is a company based in Aarhus, operating in the B2B segment within the construction industry. Their app helps streamline documentation processes and reduces paper waste on construction projects.
iKontrol wanted to strengthen their digital strategy to increase inbound inquiries and expand awareness of their app in the construction sector. Torben, the owner of iKontrol, became one of my closest collaborators throughout the process. He also saw PR and strong content production as key elements in growing brand visibility.
This became the starting point for a 2-year growth partnership focused on defining a scalable digital strategy and the KPIs needed to monitor performance effectively.
The Solution
iKontrol represented a different kind of challenge for me. The market is unlike e-commerce — the audience requires a more targeted, relationship-driven approach. However, my starting point remained the same: What can we track? Setting up measurable goals is essential to ensure everything we do can be evaluated and optimized.
Using Google Tag Manager, I implemented tracking across every possible conversion point for iKontrol, and built a dashboard to monitor performance — making it easy to identify which campaigns and channels warranted additional investment.
We also strengthened organic performance through link building and an on-page SEO strategy. Through Google Ads campaigns, we discovered new high-value keywords we had not considered earlier. This allowed us to shift focus and generate even more organic traffic over time.
