Short introduction
Imran is a medical doctor specializing in general medicine, an author, and a public speaker – and not least, he has become a close friend. I have always been inspired by Imran’s way of thinking in relation to his work as a doctor, and especially his ability to communicate our dependence on technology, where his mission is to inform people about their consumption of it. Imran has on several occasions advised me on my own personal development – including my own pitfalls within the digital space, which I often consume heavily in connection with my work.
Since leaving his career as a doctor, Imran has been an active entrepreneur, and I have had the privilege of contributing extensively to his cases, something I am incredibly proud of. Imran appeared on Løvens Hule (the Danish version of Dragon’s Den), where he participated together with his wife and presented “Kreakassen,” a creativity box designed to bring young people back to classic virtues such as play, imagination, and presence.
Solution
My role with Imran has been as a digital sparring partner and, not least, the executing force behind his online advertising. We have discussed and shaped the digital strategy across Imran’s projects, and I have been responsible for setting up everything from digital KPIs to the creation of his ads. His ability to constantly rethink and innovate has always fascinated me, and I wish I had even more time to immerse myself in some of Imran’s projects and cases.
It has been – and still is – a pleasure to contribute to an area focused on presence without technology, something I myself grew up with. It makes me genuinely happy and gives me plenty to reflect on. A big thank you to Imran for inviting me into his world and introducing me to his wonderful family, giving me life advice and tips, and, not least, for being a good friend. That is something I truly value in a good collaboration: that you are working with the person behind the project.
